“We think like an insect. We understand their behavioural traits. Our unique facility has enabled us to develop formulations and application techniques that perform in every insect environment and prove deadly in every case. It’s all about knowing more than the insects, and our competitors”.

Current Control Problems

A national study conducted in late 2006 with more than 80 private and Local Authority pest control officers across the country highlights continuing cockroach problems in a wide variety of sectors.

Some two thirds of officers report problems in housing, with over a third seeing infestations in hotels and restaurants, a further third in food retailing premises and more than one in 10 identifying food processing premises, hospitals and institutions, and schools and colleges as problematic.

What is more, nearly three quarters of those involved in the study find cockroaches an increasing challenge these days, highlighting more frequent infestations, greater health and hygiene demands and greater safety concerns as the key issues.

At the same time, nearly 2 in every 10 officers are finding they have to tackle bigger infestations, one in 10 that baiting periods need to be longer and a similar proportion that bait consumption is poorer.

Cockroaches clearly remain an underlying problem in many areas, and one that poses an increasing challenge for many controllers.
