“We think like an insect. We understand their behavioural traits. Our unique facility has enabled us to develop formulations and application techniques that perform in every insect environment and prove deadly in every case. It’s all about knowing more than the insects, and our competitors”.

Careful Inspection

Because cockroaches cluster together in protected harbourages and forage primarily at night, a thorough inspection of infested areas is essential to plan targeted treatment.

The best visual inspections are conducted at night individuals that survive initial gel bait treatments, and with a torch and a small flexible mirror to inspect less several rounds of treatment may be needed. accessible areas for excrement, shed skins and old egg capsules as well as live cockroaches.

Pyrethroid aerosols sprayed into cracks and crevices can also be very effective in identifying occupied sites by temporarily flushing cockroaches into the open.

Sticky traps offer the best way of establishing the level and location of infestations in most cases.

Traps must be placed in areas commonly frequented by foraging cockroaches – e.g. warm moist places such as underneath fridges, down the back of sinks and in corners, along wall/floor junctions, around the edges of fittings and equipment, beneath furniture.

These should be checked regularly and used to identify likely harbourages.

If Oriental cockroaches are the problem, inspection must extend outside and well as indoors.
