ssfs On the 22nd August 2008 any products containing a Notified active substance for which no active substance dossier was submitted under the Biocidal Product Directive review programme will have to be withdrawn from the market. They may no longer be sold, supplied, stored or used.

This will remove some important insecticides such as bioallethrin, one of the active ingredients in Pro Control Aerosols, from the market.

Sorex Super Fly Spray is a fast acting aerosol containing 0.10% w/w d-phenothrin and 0.25% w/w Tetramethrin. It is approved for use against both flying and crawling insects in a wide variety of premises including public hygiene, industrial and food premises, farms. As well as providing a low cost treatment it is approved for amateur use making it ideal for leaving with customers after treatment.
